Butterfly Tenergy rubbers compared
Tenergy is Butterfly’s High Tension Spring Sponge family, launched in 2008. The number is pimple geometry, not hardness: 05 is the high-throw spin reference, 64 is faster and lower, 80 sits between, 25 is the close-to-table hitter.
FX versions use a softer sponge on the same topsheet. Hard (43°) is the stiffer 05. Factory hardness, ITTF code and combined speed / spin / control sit on each product page — this index is not a lab test.
