About Tenergy 19
Butterfly Tenergy 19 is a 2021 inverted (pimples-in) sheet made in Japan. It belongs to the Tenergy series, is ITTF-approved (code 14-041), and is aimed at offensive (OFF) players who want offensive close-to-table and mid-distance topspin.
Tenergy 19 uses pre-tensioned tensor sponge with a catapult effect and relatively low dwell and a grippy, non-tacky topsheet typical of European tensors. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 36° (Tensor); a cut sheet is about 45 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in red light. Tenergy is Butterfly's High Tension line with Spring Sponge. The numbered variants (05, 64, 80, 05 Hard, FX) change pimple geometry and sponge hardness rather than the basic recipe.
On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 91, spin 93 and control 78 (official mapping 91 / 93 / 78). That is a high-speed inverted profile for offensive close-to-table and mid-distance topspin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.
Community score 8.2 / 10 from 149 reviews. Indicative European street price €54. Compare Tenergy 19 with other Butterfly Tenergy and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF inverted sheets.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

- 2.1
- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
