About Tenergy 25
Tenergy 25 uses pre-tensioned tensor sponge with a catapult effect and relatively low dwell and a grippy, non-tacky topsheet typical of European tensors. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 36° (Tensor); a cut sheet is about 48 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in red light. Tenergy is Butterfly's High Tension line with Spring Sponge. The numbered variants (05, 64, 80, 05 Hard, FX) change pimple geometry and sponge hardness rather than the basic recipe.
On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 96, spin 90 and control 74 (official mapping 95 / 89 / 74). That is a high-speed inverted profile for offensive close-to-table and mid-distance topspin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.
Community score 8.4 / 10 from 320 reviews. Indicative European street price €55. Compare Tenergy 25 with other Butterfly Tenergy and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF inverted sheets.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
