About Dignics 09C
Dignics 09C is not a Chinese rubber. It is a Japanese High Tension sheet with a stickier topsheet on dense Spring Sponge X. Combined spin is the highest in the Butterfly inverted wall (97); speed 89; control 77. Hardness 44°.
It became the common two-wing upgrade from Tenergy 05 in the 2020s because it grips the first ball harder without a booster calendar. It still wants a proper brush — it is not a magic tacky shortcut.
Compare it with Hurricane 3 National (boosted Chinese) and Tibhar Hybrid K3 / Donic BlueGrip C2 (German hybrids) on the vs pages. Spare sheets are expensive; try before you commit two wings.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.
- 1.8
- 1.9
- 2.0
- 2.1
- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
