About Evolution MX-S
Evolution MX-S uses pre-tensioned tensor sponge with a catapult effect and relatively low dwell and a grippy, non-tacky topsheet typical of European tensors. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 46.5° (Tensor); a cut sheet is about 47 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in red. Evolution is Tibhar's SPI (Standard Power Iteration) tensor line. MX-P is the spin-speed flagship; EL-P, FX-P and MX-S change hardness and throw.
On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 90, spin 94 and control 80 (official mapping 88 / 92 / 79). That is a high-speed inverted profile for offensive close-to-table and mid-distance topspin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.
Community score 9.0 / 10 from 1,100 reviews. Indicative European street price €46. Compare Evolution MX-S with other Tibhar Evolution and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF inverted sheets.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
