About Victas table tennis equipment
Victas Co., Ltd. launched in Japan in 2011 as the successor brand to TSP, inheriting Spectol short pips and Curl long pips — two of the most copied pips-out sheets in Europe. The inverted story is V>15 (Extra, Sticky and related), a High Tension-style tensor aimed at close-to-table and mid-distance loopers who previously lived on Butterfly Tenergy 05 or Nittaku Fastarc G-1.
ZX-Gear In and ZX-Gear Out fibre blades are Victas’s answer to Innerforce and Viscaria: Japanese fibre woods with a slightly different flex. Balsa defensive woods remain in the catalogue for choppers who still use Curl or Spectol on the backhand. Because TSP names still circulate in clubs, this site keeps Spectol and Curl under Victas and notes the lineage in the copy. Factory specs are Victas catalogue figures, not old TSP print.
V>15 Extra is the inverted most compared with Tenergy 05 in European shops, usually at a lower street price. V>15 Sticky is the tackier sibling for players who want more first-ball grip. Spectol S1 / Spectol Red and Curl P1 / P4 keep Victas on combination-bat forums next to Butterfly Feint and Dr. Neubauer long pips.
Victas is Japanese, not German. It is not a rebadge of 1990s TSP inverted sheets — V>15 and ZX-Gear are Victas designs. If you need TSP-heritage pips, this is still the right brand page.
History of Victas
TSP was a historic Japanese pips brand (Spectol, Curl). Victas succeeded TSP in 2011, kept those pips names, and added V>15 inverted and ZX-Gear fibre blades for two-wing loopers. European shops still say “TSP Spectol” in conversation; the legal brand on new stock is Victas.
How Victas compares
Victas V>15 Extra vs Tenergy 05 vs Fastarc G-1 is the inverted comparison. Spectol vs other Japanese short pips, Curl vs Butterfly Feint vs Dr. Neubauer long pips is the pips comparison. ZX-Gear In/Out vs Innerforce / Viscaria is the fibre-blade comparison. TSP is the predecessor name, not a second brand in this catalogue.

Victas FAQ
- Is Victas the same as TSP?
- Victas succeeded TSP in 2011 and still makes Spectol and Curl. New inverted and fibre lines (V>15, ZX-Gear) are Victas designs, not rebadged 1990s TSP sheets.
- Where is Victas from?
- Japan. The brand is sold across Europe; this catalogue lists ITTF-approved Victas rubbers and blades stocked by EU shops.
- Victas V>15 Extra vs Tenergy 05?
- V>15 Extra is Victas’s High Tension inverted aimed at the same two-wing looping job as Tenergy 05, usually at a lower EU street price. V>15 Sticky is the tackier variant. Factory specs are on each product page on the shared 0–100 index.
- What happened to TSP table tennis?
- Victas succeeded TSP in 2011 and still makes Spectol short pips and Curl long pips. New inverted and fibre lines (V>15, ZX-Gear) are Victas designs. This catalogue lists them under Victas.
- Victas ZX-Gear In vs Out?
- Out puts fibre nearer the face (more like Viscaria / outer ALC). In puts fibre deeper (more like Innerforce). Compare with Butterfly’s inner/outer ALC pages on the shared index.
