About Spectol S3
S3 (speed 86, spin 58, control 78, 40°) is not a harder S1 in the Tenergy-FX sense. Combined speed is a touch lower; spin a touch higher; year and invoice are the practical gaps.
Stay on S1 unless a coach has already timed you on S3. Short pips still give up inverted push and loop either way.
Compare S1 vs S3 on the vs page, then Hexer Pips if you wanted a German club sheet instead of Spectol.

Factory thicknesses
Factory options: OX, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 1.8. OX means no sponge. Combined figures describe this SKU; an OX sibling with its own product page is a different sheet.
- OX
- 0.5
- 1.0
- 1.5
- 1.8
- OX
- No sponge. On long pips this usually means more reversal and a deader return; on antispin it is a very dead ball. It is a different SKU from the sponged sheet when the shop lists both.
- 0.5
- A very thin sponge under pips or anti. Slightly more speed than OX, still disruption-first.
- 1.0
- Thin sponge under pips or anti — the German-shop step above OX.
- 1.5
- Thicker pips/anti sponge. More speed, less pure disruption. Not an inverted MAX.
- 1.8
- Short-pips attacking sponge, or a thick anti. Not the same job as inverted 1.8.
