Tenergy 05 vs Tenergy 05 FX
FX is not a different rubber. It is the 05 topsheet on a softer sponge. Combined speed drops, control rises, spin stays in the same band.

Backhand is the usual FX home: shorter stroke, more safety on the block, less need to bottom out a 36° sheet. Forehand FX is for players who found 05 too lively, not for players who want more speed.
05 Hard is the opposite step (43°). Do not confuse FX with 64 — 64 is a different pimple geometry.

Verdict
Same pimples, softer sponge. FX for backhand safety or a softer first ball; stay on 05 if you already time the 36° sheet.
