About V 15 Sticky

V 15 Sticky uses hybrid sponge that mixes tensor bounce with more Chinese-style grip and a tacky topsheet that grips the ball for spin-heavy loops. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 47.5° (Hybrid); a cut sheet is about 49 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in cream. V > 15 (Extra, Sticky, Stiff) is Victas's high-end High Energy Tension inverted.

On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 90, spin 96 and control 82 (official mapping 88 / 94 / 81). That is a high-speed inverted profile for offensive close-to-table and mid-distance topspin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.

Community score 9.0 / 10 from 310 reviews. Indicative European street price €50. Compare V 15 Sticky with other Victas V>15 and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF inverted sheets.

Factory thicknesses

Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

  • MAX
1.8
Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
1.9
The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
2.0
Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
2.1
Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
MAX
Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
