About Rasanter C48

Rasanter C48 uses hybrid sponge that mixes tensor bounce with more Chinese-style grip and a tacky topsheet that grips the ball for spin-heavy loops. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 48° (Hybrid); a cut sheet is about 49 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in green. Rasanter is Andro's Energy Cell line. The R-number (R37, R42, R47, R50, R53) is the sponge hardness in degrees.

On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 89, spin 95 and control 82 (official mapping 87 / 93 / 81). That is a mid-to-high speed inverted profile for offensive close-to-table and mid-distance topspin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.

Community score 9.0 / 10 from 360 reviews. Indicative European street price €48. Compare Rasanter C48 with other Andro Rasanter and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF inverted sheets.

Factory thicknesses

Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

  • MAX
1.8
Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
1.9
The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
2.0
Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
2.1
Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
MAX
Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
