Tibhar’s tackier tensor: a more Chinese-style topsheet on hybrid sponge at 50° — grip without a full Hurricane sponge.
9.3 community score · 870 reviews · €50
About Hybrid K3
Hybrid K3 sits in Tibhar’s Hybrid family, not in Evolution. Combined spin 96, speed 90, control 82. It is the German-shop answer to players leaving Hurricane 3 who still want first-ball grip.
It is not Dignics 09C and it is not Hurricane 3 National. 09C is Spring Sponge X; National is sticky Chinese, usually boosted. K3 is the cheaper hybrid in that search cluster.
K1 and FX K3 change hardness. If you already boost H3 well, K3 will feel like a different sport. If you want grip out of the wrapper, this is the Tibhar door.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

- 2.1
- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
