About Ventus Regular

Victas Ventus Regular is a 2019 inverted (pimples-in) sheet made in Japan. It belongs to the Ventus series, is ITTF-approved (code 117-024), and is aimed at allround-offensive (OFF−) players who want allround-offensive play that still needs a safety margin.

Ventus Regular uses pre-tensioned tensor sponge with a catapult effect and relatively low dwell and a grippy, non-tacky topsheet typical of European tensors. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 47° (Tensor); a cut sheet is about 45 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in cream. Ventus (Extra, Spin, Speed) is Victas's more accessible High Energy Tension sheet.

On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 79, spin 86 and control 82 (official mapping 80 / 87 / 83). That is a control-first inverted profile for allround-offensive play that still needs a safety margin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.

Community score 7.3 / 10 from 122 reviews. Indicative European street price €45. Compare Ventus Regular with other Victas Ventus and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF− inverted sheets.

Factory thicknesses

Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

  • MAX
1.8
Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
1.9
The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
2.0
Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
2.1
Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
MAX
Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
