Yasaka
Rakza 7
Yasaka’s Super Tension reference — enough spring for club looping, more control than Tenergy 05, a practical Japanese street price.

About Rakza 7
Rakza 7 is the allround-spin head of the Rakza family (speed 88, spin 92, control 84, 45°). Rakza 9 and Z are more direct; X is the hard/fast end.
Nordic and German shops keep it next to Mark V as the modern Yasaka inverted. It is not a Butterfly clone and not a Chinese tacky sheet.
If 7 feels slow, stay in Rakza before you pay for Tenergy. Mark V remains the classic non-tensor Yasaka if you wanted less catapult, not more.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
