About BlueGrip C2
BlueGrip C2 is not a Chinese rubber. Combined speed 90, spin 96, control 82. It grips more than Bluefire, bounces more than unboosted Hurricane.
C / S / V / R variants change sponge and throw. Bluefire M1 is the older fast Formula sheet without the tackier top. Coppa is the classic Donic inverted family, a different generation.
Compare with Dignics 09C and Hybrid K3 on the vs pages. If you want a full sticky Chinese sponge, open Hurricane 3 instead.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.
- 1.8

- 2.1
- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
