About BlueGrip C1
BlueGrip C1 uses hybrid sponge that mixes tensor bounce with more Chinese-style grip and a tacky topsheet that grips the ball for spin-heavy loops. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 50° (Hybrid); a cut sheet is about 50 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in blue. BlueGrip is Donic's hybrid: a tackier topsheet on Formula sponge (S1/S2/V1/R1 variants).
On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 88, spin 95 and control 84 (official mapping 86 / 93 / 83). That is a mid-to-high speed inverted profile for offensive close-to-table and mid-distance topspin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.
Community score 9.1 / 10 from 480 reviews. Indicative European street price €48. Compare BlueGrip C1 with other Donic BlueGrip and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF inverted sheets.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
