About Nostalgic Allround

Stiga Nostalgic Allround is a 2016 5 ply wood table tennis blade made in Sweden. It is ITTF-approved, classed allround-plus (ALL+), and uses an all-wood layup with no synthetic fibre — more dwell and a clearer wood feel.

Factory figures: typical weight 82 g, thickness 6.4 mm. Handles listed: Flared (FL), Straight (ST), Anatomic (AN). Construction label All wood (5 ply wood). Active allround play with an offensive bias is the intended game.

Combined index: speed 74, control 93, stiffness 56 (official mapping 73 / 93 / 56). All-wood blades in this speed band are usually chosen for dwell and placement rather than raw kick.

Community score 8.5 / 10 from 40 reviews. Indicative European street price €55. Compare Nostalgic Allround with other all wood ALL+ blades on TableTennisReview.

Handles

Handles listed for this SKU: Flared (FL), Straight (ST), Anatomic (AN). Handle shape does not change the ply recipe, weight class or Combined index.

  • Flared (FL)
  • Straight (ST)
  • Anatomic (AN)
Flared (FL)
The usual European shakehand handle. The flare fills the palm and locks the blade in; it does not change the ply recipe.
Straight (ST)
A straight handle is easier to rotate in the hand — the usual pick for combination rackets and some two-wing loopers who change grip mid-rally.
Anatomic (AN)
An anatomic handle follows the palm. Same wood as FL/ST on the same SKU; pick it if that shape already fits.
