Vega Europe
Xiom’s first-upgrade tensor: softer, more dwell, labelled Europe on purpose — the usual step after a premade racket.

About Vega Europe
Vega Europe is a mid-price inverted tensor (Combined speed 82, spin 86, control 90, 42°). The geographic name is honest: Europe is the dwell/control Vega; Asia is faster; Pro is stiffer.
It is not Tenergy 05 and is not trying to be. Coaches name it when the player needs a real tensor without Butterfly invoices. Palio AK47 is the cheaper on-ramp; Vega Europe is the branded one.
If it already feels slow, Vega Asia / Pro or Omega VII is the in-brand step. Jumping straight to Tenergy 05 skips the hardness story this series was built on.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
