About Super Glanti Black Edition
Barna Super Glanti Black Edition is a 2024 antispin sheet with a low-friction topsheet made in Germany. It belongs to the Super Glanti series, is ITTF-approved, and is aimed at defensive (DEF) players who want defensive chopping, fishing and disruption.
Super Glanti Black Edition uses classic (non-tensor) sponge with longer dwell and a more linear feel and a slick, low-friction topsheet. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 52° (Classic); a cut sheet is about 40 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: OX, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0. An OX (no-sponge) version is also listed. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in black.
On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 35, spin 40 and control 99 (official mapping 35 / 40 / 99). That is a control-first antispin profile for defensive chopping, fishing and disruption. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.
Community score 8.4 / 10 from 12 reviews. Indicative European street price €55. Compare Super Glanti Black Edition with other Barna Super Glanti and antispin rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for DEF antispin sheets.

Factory thicknesses
Factory options: OX, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0. OX means no sponge. Combined figures describe this SKU; an OX sibling with its own product page is a different sheet.
- OX
- 1.0
- 1.5
- 2.0
- OX
- No sponge. On long pips this usually means more reversal and a deader return; on antispin it is a very dead ball. It is a different SKU from the sponged sheet when the shop lists both.
- 1.0
- Thin sponge under pips or anti — the German-shop step above OX.
- 1.5
- Thicker pips/anti sponge. More speed, less pure disruption. Not an inverted MAX.
- 2.0
- Thick short-pips sponge. More speed on a hit, less of the classic short-pip deadness.
