About Super Glanti

Barna Super Glanti is a 2014 antispin sheet with a low-friction topsheet made in Germany. It belongs to the Super series, is ITTF-approved (code 193-007), and is aimed at defensive (DEF) players who want defensive chopping, fishing and disruption.

Super Glanti uses classic (non-tensor) sponge with longer dwell and a more linear feel and a slick, low-friction topsheet. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 38° (Classic); a cut sheet is about 42 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: OX, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 1.8. Sold with topsheet in Black and Blue and Green and Red; sponge in black/yellow / pink/red/yellow / red / turquoise.

On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 46, spin 26 and control 90 (official mapping 46 / 26 / 90). That is a control-first antispin profile for defensive chopping, fishing and disruption. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.

Community score 7.8 / 10 from 240 reviews. Indicative European street price €24. Compare Super Glanti with other Barna Super and antispin rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for DEF antispin sheets.

Factory thicknesses

Factory options: OX, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 1.8. OX means no sponge. Combined figures describe this SKU; an OX sibling with its own product page is a different sheet.

OX
No sponge. On long pips this usually means more reversal and a deader return; on antispin it is a very dead ball. It is a different SKU from the sponged sheet when the shop lists both.
0.5
A very thin sponge under pips or anti. Slightly more speed than OX, still disruption-first.
1.0
Thin sponge under pips or anti — the German-shop step above OX.
1.5
Thicker pips/anti sponge. More speed, less pure disruption. Not an inverted MAX.
1.8
Short-pips attacking sponge, or a thick anti. Not the same job as inverted 1.8.
