Butterfly
Sriver
Butterfly’s classic Japanese inverted — non-tensor, linear, the long-running reference sheet that still outsells fashion tensors in some clubs.

About Sriver
Sriver is not Tenergy. Combined speed 78, spin 80, control 90, hardness 38°. It is the grippy, classic sponge inverted Butterfly sold for decades before Spring Sponge.
Sriver EL is the softer sibling. Rozena / Roundell are the High Tension steps below Tenergy if you want catapult without the tour invoice.
Buy Sriver if you want linear Japanese rubber for allround and blocking, or a coaching default that does not launch. Do not buy it expecting Tenergy throw.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
