About Rasanter R50
R50 (Combined speed 96, spin 89, control 75, 50°) is a real hardness jump from R47, not a half-step like R48. R53 is stiffer still. V-series is a different topsheet on the same sponge idea.
If R47 already feels solid, stay there. If you bottom it out on strong loops and R48 was not enough, R50 is the in-family attacking sheet.
Compare with Evolution MX-P and Bluefire M1 on price. Compare with Tenergy 05 only if you are ready for Butterfly throw and invoices — hardness is not the same conversation.

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
