About Evolution MX-P
Evolution MX-P is the spin-speed head of Tibhar’s SPI line. Combined speed 95, spin 90, control 76. It is more direct and lower-throwing than Tenergy 05, with a harder sponge (47.5° vs 36°).
EL-P, FX-P and MX-S are the in-family hardness / throw steps — not different brands. Andro Rasanter R47 is the numbered German rival in the same shop price band.
Buy MX-P if you loop through the ball and will not pay Butterfly tour prices. Skip it if you wanted tacky grip (that is Hybrid K3) or a high Butterfly throw (that is Tenergy 05).

Factory thicknesses
Factory sponge thicknesses sold in Europe: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. These are shopping facts — Combined speed / spin / control on this page do not change with thickness.
- 1.8
- 1.9
- 2.0
- 2.1
- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
