About C 8
DHS C 8 is a 2020 long-pips-out sheet for chopping, reversal and disruption made in China. It belongs to the C series, is ITTF-approved (code 24-027), and is aimed at defensive (DEF) players who want defensive chopping, fishing and disruption.
C 8 uses classic (non-tensor) sponge with longer dwell and a more linear feel and a pips-out topsheet. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 40° (Classic); a cut sheet is about 38 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: OX, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 1.8. An OX (no-sponge) version is also listed. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in blue/orange / orange.
On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 54, spin 50 and control 86 (official mapping 55 / 51 / 88). That is a control-first long pips profile for defensive chopping, fishing and disruption. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.
Community score 7.1 / 10 from 339 reviews. Indicative European street price €28. Compare C 8 with other DHS C and long pips rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for DEF long pips sheets.

Factory thicknesses
Factory options: OX, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 1.8. OX means no sponge. Combined figures describe this SKU; an OX sibling with its own product page is a different sheet.

- OX
- No sponge. On long pips this usually means more reversal and a deader return; on antispin it is a very dead ball. It is a different SKU from the sponged sheet when the shop lists both.
- 0.5
- A very thin sponge under pips or anti. Slightly more speed than OX, still disruption-first.
- 1.0
- Thin sponge under pips or anti — the German-shop step above OX.
- 1.5
- Thicker pips/anti sponge. More speed, less pure disruption. Not an inverted MAX.
- 1.8
- Short-pips attacking sponge, or a thick anti. Not the same job as inverted 1.8.
