About Bluefire M3
Bluefire M3 uses pre-tensioned tensor sponge with a catapult effect and relatively low dwell and a grippy, non-tacky topsheet typical of European tensors. Manufacturer sponge hardness is 40° (Tensor); a cut sheet is about 45 g. Factory sponge thicknesses: 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, MAX. Sold with topsheet in Black and Red; sponge in blue. Bluefire is Donic's Formula tensor with M1/M2/M3 sponge hardness steps.
On the TableTennisReview 0–100 index the Combined figures are speed 84, spin 88 and control 88 (official mapping 83 / 87 / 87). That is a mid-to-high speed inverted profile for allround-offensive play that still needs a safety margin. Hardness, weight and thickness above are factory facts — not lab tests.
Community score 8.6 / 10 from 240 reviews. Indicative European street price €38. Compare Bluefire M3 with other Donic Bluefire and inverted rubbers on the same scale, or open the catalogue filters for OFF− inverted sheets.

- MAX
- 1.8
- Thinner inverted sponge. Allround and first-upgrade backhands live here more often than attacking forehands.
- 1.9
- The usual club backhand thickness on inverted tensors. A bit more control, a bit less catapult than 2.1 / MAX.
- 2.0
- Mid-thick. Common on the backhand when MAX felt lively, or as a two-wing compromise.
- 2.1
- Still a thick attacking sponge. A small step down from MAX on some tensors — shops treat it as the other FH thickness, not a control sheet.
- MAX
- Thickest factory sponge. Most catapult on a tensor; the usual attacking forehand. Combined figures on this page are for the SKU, not a separate MAX score.
