About Pimplepark table tennis equipment
Pimplepark (PiMPLEPARK) is a German specialist founded in the mid-2010s in Cologne by active players (spinfactory / Jörn Haynold and Jan Matthes are the names usually attached). The philosophy is “from players for players”: a small, plastic-ball-era pips catalogue rather than a full tensor wall. Attaxx, Bloxx, Cluster, Defender, Wobbler, Bumper and Tenaxx cover short-pips hitting, long-pips chopping and anti.
It competes with Spinlord and Sauer & Tröger in the affordable German pips drawer. ITTF-approved versions sold in Europe are listed here with hardness, OX flags and the shared speed/control index. If you need inverted tensors, this is the wrong brand page — follow Butterfly, Tibhar or Andro instead.
Pimplepark’s named short and long pips compete with Spinlord Waran / Gipfelsturm in the club drawer. Sort them on this site’s pips filters by speed and control rather than by marketing intensity. The catalogue is small on purpose and is only replaced when the makers think the plastic ball justifies it.
History of Pimplepark
PiMPLEPARK was founded in Cologne in the mid-2010s by club players around spinfactory, aiming at plastic-ball pips rather than a full inverted range. Attaxx, Bloxx, Cluster and Wobbler are the names that reached EU mail-order lists.
How Pimplepark compares
Pimplepark vs Spinlord vs Sauer & Tröger: affordable German pips. Pimplepark’s Attaxx / Bloxx / Cluster compete with Spinlord Waran / Gipfelsturm. Dr. Neubauer is the more expensive disruption specialist. Inverted tensors are the wrong comparison.
